basically, having a job as a teenager sucks ass, but makes cash. these are the typical complaints of us underpaid and overworked disposable humans.

redvintagehairclothes asked: where do you work at? I am trying to get a part-time at any place but in a way that I can also be at school. can you give me ideas?
Depending on where you live, i don’t know if you’d have this store, but i work at a grocery store called Food Basics. I think grocery stores are a really good idea because they’re pretty stress-free with no early/late hours like fast food places…
Trust me, I applied for probably a year at different places. Again, I don’t know about you, but I live in Canada, so I applied at Tim Hortons, Subway, Dairy Queen, Canadian Tire, every dollar store imaginable, every grocery store imaginable, KFC, McDonalds, A&W, I mean EVERYWHERE. The place I work at now called me back a month later. and just the other day I got a job offer from a place I applied at back in August! So job offers can be pretty random and unexpected.
It’s sooo discouraging to be looking for a long time, I know. Google places in your area and most of them, like McDonalds, have online applications. Or ones you can print and fill out. I really just went everywhere near my school and home. Hope this helped! Trust me, if anyone’s had a hard time finding a job, it’s been me :)
